First Day

Ok, so Day 1 on my survival world was... interesting. I spawned in a snow biome and it was right next to a desert where I saw a cactus. This got the creative juices going, so I've made a temporary house out of cacti. It's a bit difficult to get in and out, but mobs don't like getting in either, so I'm safe. I have hardly any food, and no wood, so I'm worried I'm gonna need to restart. I hope I don't though.
